Create and translate
Translate a video from import to export
Find the right footage, review the target-language dialogue, generate speech and optional lip sync, and export a checked result.
Prepare a useful source
Import the video into the desktop app and let transcription and indexing complete. You can translate an entire video or first locate a shorter passage by its topic, dialogue or visual content. Choosing relevant passages can reduce both manual searching and the amount of material you process.
Keep the source available until the job and export have completed. Check that the required translation, voice and lip-sync models are ready on your device.
The complete translation workflow
- Import and index: review the transcript and the topics or highlights suggested for your footage.
- Search and select: choose the passages you need, or keep the full video when that is the intended output.
- Review the translation: choose the translation task and your target language, then check names, terminology, meaning and speaker assignments.
- Generate voice and optional lip sync: review the translated audio first, then verify the mouth movement and face-to-voice mapping.
- Review and export: watch the complete result with sound, export the approved version, and open the saved file before delivery.
Target languages and website languages are different
Bonframe supports 200+ languages across its local translation, voice and lip-sync workflow. Select the target language inside the app; changing the website language does not change a video job.
When preparing several language versions, validate one version first. Then review each additional version for pronunciation, speaker identity, timing and text that needs language-specific correction. Language coverage is not a guarantee of identical quality for every recording.
Correct the stage that needs attention
- Wrong meaning, names or terms: correct and review the text before generating speech again.
- Wrong voice or pronunciation: check the speaker mapping and reference, then listen to the voice result.
- Wrong face, timing or mouth movement: review the selected lip-sync quality and the source scene before retrying.
- Missing result: check workflow history and the task queue before starting a duplicate task.
