Manage and deliver
Review and export your result
Check dialogue, voices, faces, framing and the saved output before delivering a video.
Review the complete version
- Text: confirm names, terminology, numbers and meaning in the target language.
- Audio: listen for the right speaker, pronunciation, timing, missing speech and unwanted overlaps.
- Picture: check face-to-voice mapping, side profiles, occlusions and camera cuts.
- Assembly: play transitions and the beginning and ending of every selected passage.
Check subtitles and framing
Use the subtitle and aspect-ratio options available in the export view. If using portrait output, review the framing mode on the actual scene rather than assuming the speaker always stays in the center.
Center keeps a fixed crop; face- or speaker-following options can move it. Some workflows also offer split framing. Choose only from the modes exposed by the current view, and inspect every speaker change in a multi-person scene.
Export from the desktop app
- Choose the reviewed result or active cut to export. Confirm whether you want the combined result or individual clips where those choices are offered.
- Confirm the available output settings and destination. Keep the source files and destination drive accessible.
- Wait for the export to finish. Check the task state if another local operation is already running.
- Open the actual saved file and confirm audio, picture, duration and framing. A successful preview alone does not verify the exported file.
Video files and editor interchange
A finished video and an EDL or FCPXML project handoff are different deliverables. Interchange files describe edits and can require the original media when opened in another editor. Use the supported handoff option and check the result in your target editor.
This desktop workflow does not require switching between Chrome, Safari and Firefox to obtain a different generation or billing path.
