Bonframe

Create and translate

Extract topics and choose highlights

Use video indexing and suggested moments to choose what is worth translating or editing.

Index before you select

After import, Bonframe can prepare speech, text and frame indexes for the video. These indexes help locate useful content without repeatedly scrubbing the entire recording. Indexing a file and selecting a publishable passage are separate steps.

Wait for the relevant indexing stage to finish before expecting complete search results. An imported file is not necessarily ready to search immediately.

Review a topic or highlight

  1. Open an indexed project and inspect the available topics and suggested moments.
  2. Choose a topic or describe the passage you want to find. Listen to the candidate in its original context.
  3. Check that the passage keeps a complete idea, a natural beginning and ending, and enough context for your audience.
  4. Keep or revise the selected passage, then use it for a rough cut or a translation task.

Suggestions are not editorial approval

  • An attention-grabbing sentence may omit a qualification from the surrounding discussion.
  • A high relevance score means a passage matches the request; it does not establish that the claim in the passage is true.
  • Check names, numbers, boundaries and speaker identity before making additional language versions.

Reuse an indexed source

Search the existing library when you need another passage from a recording. A new publishing goal does not always require importing the source again. For many files, use folder transcription and indexing, then find the moments to produce.
