You can download a supported YouTube source in Bonframe by opening Media download, pasting the page URL, choosing video or audio, and saving the completed artifact. This is a desktop workflow, not a downloader running on this webpage.

Use sources you are entitled to download and process under the applicable platform terms. For the feature overview, see YouTube downloader for Mac and Windows.

1. Install and open the desktop app

Download Bonframe, choose the package for your system and open Media download from the workspace navigation. Mac users should check the advertised arm64 package requirements rather than assume Intel compatibility.

2. Paste the page URL

Copy the source video page link into Media URL. The field accepts an HTTP or HTTPS page URL. Check that you copied the intended source, not an unrelated channel or search page. This guide does not promise playlist or whole-channel downloads.

If the source requires platform sign-in, the workflow can depend on the platform session available to the app. Downloading requires network access; it is different from running ASR on files already stored locally.

3. Choose video or audio

Choose video when you need the picture for editing. Choose audio when you only need a sound file. Video currently uses an up-to-1080p setting; resolution depends on the source and available download path. This guide does not promise 4K, 8K or a selectable format for every source.

4. Follow the job and preview it

Start the download and follow Resolving URL, Downloading and Saving file. A completed task provides artifacts with availability checks. Preview the result before clicking Save.

If the file is marked unavailable, use Check file again or download the source again as appropriate. Do not treat an entry in download history as proof that the file remains available.

5. Continue with the correct next task

For a transcript collection, save supported video files into a local folder and open Auto ASR jobs. That folder scanner is video-oriented; an audio download is not automatically a supported folder input.

For target-language speech, continue with YouTube video translation. A saved source still needs transcript review, translation and voice generation.

What if downloading fails?

Read the job error and check the URL, source availability, network access and any required sign-in. Repeatedly submitting the same unavailable source will not create access. Do not assume a login issue, unsupported source or removed video can be fixed by changing output format.
