Drag a local video folder into Auto ASR jobs to submit a separate transcription and indexing job for each supported file. Bonframe turns speech into reviewable text and prepares text and frame indexes for later search.

Batch means multiple files are submitted and tracked together. It does not mean they all run simultaneously. Local compute jobs share available capacity with other tasks.
A folder-first transcription workflow
- Prepare the local runtime and speech-recognition models in the desktop app.
- Open Auto ASR jobs and check the recognition-language setting.
- Drag in one local folder. Dropping a folder scans it and submits its supported videos immediately.
- Follow each job through audio extraction, ASR, text indexing and frame indexing.
- Open the resulting projects, review transcripts against speech and use the indexed material for search.
If you prefer to inspect the file list before submission, use the folder picker and then enqueue the listed files. Drag-and-drop and folder selection intentionally have different submission behavior.
Which files are scanned?
The folder scanner currently recognizes video extensions including MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, M4V, AVI, MPEG and MPG. A recognized extension does not guarantee that a damaged or unsupported encoded file can be decoded. The current UI requests up to 200 files and a scan depth of 8; inspect any truncation notice and split large collections into smaller folders.
This specific folder workflow is video transcription. It is not a promise that folders of MP3, WAV, documents or arbitrary files will be transcribed.
Track work without guessing
Jobs show queued, running, paused, completed, needs-attention or cancelled states. Use the queue controls exposed by the installed build. Completion includes indexing after ASR: generated text may exist before the full job has finished.
Review files that need attention separately. Do not assume cancelling a job erases its source file or that submitting it again always produces a fresh project.
What do I get?
The results are per-video projects with transcripts and searchable indexes. Review names, numbers and unclear passages before using them in editing or publishing.
This page does not promise a one-click export of an entire folder to TXT or SRT. Use the export options actually available in the project or workflow you open.
How does this connect to downloading and translation?
Start with permitted sources through the YouTube downloader, save the video files, then run folder transcription. After reviewing the text, select useful material for editing or use the batch translation planning guide for language-version delivery. ASR and translation are separate tasks.
See the step-by-step folder transcription guide for preparation and checks.
